Warisan Nasionalisme Kumbakarna dalam Perspektif Ajaran Islam

Kumbakarna is a puppet character who conveys the spirit of nationalism and patriotism. This qualitative research using a literature study will analyze the legacy of Kumbakarna's nationalism from the perspective of Islamic teachings. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting things according to the focus and objectives of the research. This research produces the following conclusions. First, Kumbakarna's nationalism was formed through six characters that were inherent in him from the start, namely, honesty, hard work, perseverance, responsibility, social care, and love of the country. From these six characters, his complete nationalistic spirit was finally formed. For the last character, namely love of the homeland (hubbul wathan), it is something that is most prominent in Kumbakarna's nationalistic spirit. Second, the six characters that form Kumbarakna's nationalistic spirit appear significant from the perspective of Islamic teachings as follows, among others: significant honesty with the QS. Al-Ahzab verse 70 and HR. Bukhari; significant hard work with QS. At-Taubah verse 105 and HR. Ibn Umar; significant persistence with QS. Al-Isra verse 84 and HR. Ahmed; significant responsibility with QS. Al-Muddassir verse 38, QS. Al-Isra verse 36, and HR. Bukhari; significant social care with QS. Al-Hujurat verse 13 and HR. Muslim; love of the homeland is significant with QS. Al-Hajj verse 39, QS. Al-Baqarah verse 216, and HR. Turmudzi.
