Memperkaya Pengalaman Ekstrakurikuler Siswa Melalui Pendekatan Outdoor dan Petualangan di Alam Terbuka dalam Pendidikan Islam

Extracurricular activities play a crucial role in students' holistic development, yet they are often limited to classroom settings. Outdoor and adventure-based approaches provide deeper learning experiences through direct interaction with nature. This approach enables students to learn actively, enhancing their social skills, leadership, independence, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in real-life and challenging situations. This study aims to analyze the potential of outdoor and adventure-based approaches in enriching extracurricular experiences and improving the effectiveness of out-of-class learning. Using a literature review method, this research collects and analyzes various scientific sources related to the benefits of outdoor activities in education and their impact on students' development in multiple aspects. The findings indicate that this approach increases student engagement, creativity, and a sense of responsibility toward the environment and society. Therefore, schools are encouraged to integrate outdoor learning into extracurricular programs and provide training and support for teachers and facilitators to ensure effective, sustainable implementation that offers long-term benefits for students and the educational environment as a whole.
